The Wally Gogul Memorial Scholarship Fund (Steubenville Catholic Schools Foundation)


The Wally Gogul Memorial Scholarship Fund was organized by the friends and family of Wally Gogul, a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central. The Wally Gogul Memorial Scholarship is awarded to at least one student every year who falls into one of the following categories: (1) a graduating senior who exhibits the values of courage, character, heart, and school spirit, which is the Steubenville Catholic Central High School motto, has graduated with a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative weighted GPA and who is attending an accredited trade school, college, or university after graduation; (2) A student transitioning from junior high school to high school at Steubenville Catholic Central who exhibits the values of courage, character, heart, and school spirit; or (3) A current freshman, sophomore, or junior attending Steubenville Catholic Central High School who otherwise may not be able to continue their education at CCHS without financial assistance. In all circumstances, the applicant must have and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA or, if the Applicant is a transitioning middle school student, must only maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA while a recipient of the scholarship.
