The BJKM Elementary After School Care is designed for parents who need after school care for their children.  It is operated by the school for children in grades K-6th. The program operates each regular school day Monday-Friday at dismissal until 5:15pm.  It does not operate during early dismissal. The program operates in the same discipline as outlined in the School Handbook.

Behave respectfully and courteously towards teachers, adults and students.
Participate positively and follow all directions.
Respect school property.

$5.00 per hours, 2nd child in same family is $2.00 per hour.
Payment is due monthly.

Send a healthy snack for your child to enjoy during ASC.

All parents must sign their child out of ASC each date and document the time of pick-up.

Parents must pick up a form in the main office.
The forms must be completed and returned to the office before the start of the program.

Billing of After School Care is added to your account and is paid through FACTS.


Bishop Mussio Elementary offers after school activities for a variety of age levels.

Science Club meets once a month per grade. Students engage in hands on Science activities in our Science Lab.

Little Flowers for girls in grades 1-5 meets monthly to learn about Catholic virtues through the lives of the saints, Bible verses, Works of mercy and visits to the adoration chapel.

Our School newspaper, The Mussio Messenger, is a new publication sponsored by our fifth graders.

The Library Club meets during recess, where fifth graders help our librarian organize and maintain the school library.

The Chess Club is slated to begin in Spring of 2022.

Our newly formed Student Council consists of fifth grade officers and class representatives from each of our fourth and fifth grade homerooms. They give input on school issues, organize service projects and make suggestions for school programs.
