Bishop Mussio Elementary is seeking a dedicated Catholic school leader to serve the school community as assistant principal. This leader must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church and be committed to advancing the mission of the school. The assistant principal works directly under the Principal to assist with day-to-day operations, ensuring a joy-filled learning environment, supporting the principal’s vision for academic excellence, and assisting in advancing the school’s Catholic culture. The assistant principal plays a critical role overseeing student discipline, teacher supervision, curriculum planning, staff development, and general school operations. The person will also work closely with the principal in ensuring that the Catholic faith is integrated into all aspects of school life.

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in administration or be able to obtain one in three years, and must have at least five years of teaching experience at the elementary level. Resumes can be sent to tdanaher@bishopmussio.org

Bishop Mussio Elementary is hiring for the 2025-26 school year. Our new building, Legacy Hall, will enable us to expand some of our grades into three classrooms. We are looking for dedicated teachers who can witness to the Catholic faith while providing a strong and caring educational environment. Grade levels openings are for grades 2-5.
